Creating Housekeeper Seniority Codes

The Housekeeper Seniority option allows users to create seniority codes for housekeeping staffs at the property.

Perform the following steps to create seniority codes:

Navigate to Settings à Housekeeping Setup à Housekeeping Seniority.

Click Create Seniority Code. The Create Seniority Code screen appears.

Refer to the following table and fill in the fields:

Field

Description

Seniority Code

A unique code to identify the position of the staff in terms of seniority.

Up 15 alphanumeric characters, special characters, and numbers are supported.

Seniority Name

The name of the staff’s seniority position.

Up to 50 alphanumeric characters are supported.

List Order

The position in which the staff’s seniority code must appear in the grid. The system automatically generates a value based on the value of the previously created list item.

Up to 999 records are supported.

Active

When enabled, it indicates that the seniority code is active.

Click Create. The seniority code is created and displayed in the grid.

Users can also perform the following actions in the Housekeeper Seniority screen:

  • Modify the details of the seniority code using the Edit icon.

  • Delete the seniority code record using the Delete icon.

  • Drag the seniority code record to change positions within the grid using the Drag icon. The list order number is automatically updated after the change in positions.

  • Copy the seniority code record using the Copy icon. When copied, all the details of the seniority record, except the code, is copied to the new seniority record.

  • Search for the custom housekeeping service record using the code or name.
